BKE Fermentation Lab- Postponed

BKE’s Fermentation is our new monthly series on the art and science of fermentation. Each month we will go a bit further into the craft of fermentation, and will cover everything from kombucha, to pickling, to miso!

Classes are run by our head brewer, Siobhan McPherson. Siobhan is a professional brewer who has found life long companions in the microbial kingdom. Her initial interest in mixed fermentation and funky beers drove her to study methods from around the world that harness microbial ecosystems to transform ingredients into foods that are more shelf stable and nutritious. She studied biology and anthropology at McGill University and her beer has been recognized at the Canadian Brewing awards.
